What is a Worship Service like?

Faith Assembly of God exists so people with real needs encounter a real God. Every week, you will experience passionate and authentic worship, gospel-centered preaching, and a vibrant kids ministry. Whether you've been around church all your life or this is your first time stepping foot in a church, we want to make your experience welcoming.

What type of music do you sing?

At Faith Assembly of God, you will hear music at each and every gathering that is based on God's Word and focused on God's character. Our goal is that each and every person present at our worship service would leave with a sense of awe and wonder at what Jesus has done for us. We strive to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16) through our meaningfully modern worship music.

How is the teaching?

At Faith Assembly of God, you will find our preaching expository in nature and gospel-centered in content. We focusing on simply exposing what the Bible says in each passage while keeping in mind that all passages connect to the overarching story of the whole Bible. In light of this, each sermon should reflect the sum of the biblical narrative - that we ought to love God when we see His great love for us. We see His love most clearly in the sacrificial death of Jesus. The Gospel is always the point, and Jesus is always the hero of every sermon.

Got Questions?

What should I wear?
Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you and those around you feel comfortable. 
How do I find parking?
There are two New Visitor parking stalls located in the front parking lot of the church. We also have additional stalls in the back parking lot of the church. There is also ample street parking available.
How long is the service?
Services typically last about 90 minutes. We start with a time of vibrant worship, then one of our pastors will share powerful message. If you want a preview of the sermons we hear on an average Sunday, check out our Media page below.

What do you offer kids?
Our kid’s experiences are age-appropriate and are available for kids aged birth through 5th grade. When you arrive on Sunday, just look for the signs or speak to our hospitality team and they can help you find the correct location for your child. 
Can my kids sit with me in service?
Absolutely! We understand that it might take a few visits for kids to acclimate to a new environment. Coloring sheets and crayons are made available for any children that want to attend the Worship Service.

Will I be asked to give money?
There is no obligation or expectation for our visitors to give. We believe God calls us to be cheerful givers. We believe giving generously is the appropriate response to the abundant grace we receive from God and an opportunity to express our trust and dependence on His faithfulness.
